Tiger census Sundarbans: The Forest Department has started setting up a total of 1,330 cameras at 665 spots in the Sundarbans to count tigers, deer and pigs. The camera installation work started at Kalabogi Ecotourism Center around 9:00am today.
Tiger census by using camera trapping method and by surveying creeks and rivers began in Sundarbans today under the 'Sundarban Tiger Conservation Project'.
