Whenever, is another crucial milestone on the rocky road which is the debate for the last 10 years. Nobody arguing that the eu was perfect. I think it is a force for good. For jobs, services and workers rights. Lets avoid all costs and wastelands. Thank you. [applause] 40 years ago we experienced the first referendum, at a time when the party was divided. After it the nature of these negotiations being carried out were not entirely clear. Of course, must have changed. It is now a member union of 28 states. My own party has fully embraced the eu, recognizing its importance to scotland. In contrast to the 1975 government, government ministers that were not to be free to campaign, or at least that seems that way, we are more likely to have a referendum. It is appropriate to make this referendum something that the public can engage in fully. That should mean not only votes for 16yearolds and the team 16yearolds and 17yearolds, but for eu citizen. Roger mika stepped away. We will will go door independent line, nick is waiting in oakland california. Good morning. Caller hi. I was noticing in technologies you mentioned wind and solar. Ive been puzzled for some time why tidal energy hasnt been exploited. Its available and most of the people in the United States live within 25 miles of the coast. Its an obvious of energy and easy to use. Guest its a great question. The answer is unfortunately like in a promising sounding alternative energy that has to be economical and tidal energy is useful and could be promising but its not yet economical. Its just not going to generate enough power to be worth installing the installations and doing what you need to do to harness the power. Whats interesting about this item is that the utility in color

The thing that really needs to happen is going back to what the incoming majority said, they need to get back to regular order. If they go back impact of 13 bills it would take to fund the government, everybody can see who voted for it. To put what amendment up, and let the president passed it or veto it. I hope it is a more mature and responsible congress we will see emerging in the next two years. I think emblematic of this situation is this john boehner challenge today. It is time for both parties to put aside the bitter partisan battles and get on to the task they are constitutionally required to do, to govern, to legislate. I think what the American People said in november of both parties is it is time to see that

The final year of Martin Luther king, jr. You can watch them all at cspan. Org. Monday night on the communicators, martin cooper, inventor of the cell phone, on spectrum issues and providing for mobile phone service providers. The spectrum of technology it includes a whole bunch of things. It includes a some new technology that is just starting to become laboratory available where we can use satellites to create a model of the world so that when somebody transmits they will know whether they will interview with somebody else. You put all these things together i hesitate to tell you how much more efficient we could be because you would laugh me out of this room. We are talking not about tens of times improvement or hundreds or thousands, but millions of times improvement. That is not as crazy as it sounds. We are a trillion times more efficient than we were in marconis time. The product of being a million times more efficient in the next 20 or 30 years is not as crazy as it sounds. Mond
