A Lebanon County-based mixing solutions provider has been acquired by a North Carolina company.
SPX Flow, a provider of process solutions for the nutrition, health and industrial markets has signed an agreement to acquire Palmyra-based Philadelphia Mixing Solutions from Thunder Basin Corporation, an affiliate of Wind River Holdings.
“This acquisition is in line with the SPX Flow’s disciplined approach to mergers and acquisitions, which is focused on strategic alignment combined with clear plans for value creation,” SPX Flow said in a press release.
The agreement is expected to be completed in the second quarter. Philadelphia Mixing Solutions’ office in Palmyra will remain open. The company employs approximately 150 people. Philadelphia Gear was founded in 1892 and commenced its mixer product line in 1954.
