The Burlington City Council on Monday will vote on whether to approve the Fiscal Year 2022 budget, along with a tax levy decrease for all property owners. The Des Moines County Board of Supervisors will pass its budget, which includes a raise in the tax levy, but not enough of an increase eat up the tax decrease by the city, on March 23.
