Plans to rebuild significant parts of Watford General Hospital have been formally submitted to Watford Borough Council.
Two recent letters, via email from William Carre and Ann Serra both attack actions I, and indeed residents, have taken to get a footpath restored along part of Wiggenhall Road. It is interesting that neither give their address and I can find no trace of the named residents on the electoral roll for Watford let alone for the area I represent. If they are residents of Central Watford they would be aware of the campaign by Watford Fields Residents’ Association (WFRA) and myself to get this footpath restored after the county council removed it as part of the building works for Thomas Sawyer Way and its junction here. In 2016 together we collected a 300-plus signature petition, forced a debate at county council and got agreement to reverse the decision.
