I have spent most of my career in Founding Fathers country. Although they are both in the United States, and they both helped define the United States, i think of the scholars and the two countries do not talk to each other as much as they should. His most famous utterance was the speech he gave here, where he said, our fathers wrought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty. That was in november, 1863.
