Over the course of making his latest album, Impaired Vision, Indianapolis rapper O.D.D.I.T.Y. specifically recalls encountering a unique moment of clarity while writing his song “The Cycle”. “I was on Facebook and saw a guy who I didn’t really know too well but I remembered seeing his stuff,” O.D.D.I.T.Y. says. “Something just told me to message him, so I messaged him. We got to talking and within an hour he had sent me a beat. Within two or three hours, I had written the three verses and the chorus, sent it back to him and we did a little tweak. But basically, the song you hear on the album was made within three hours on a Saturday.”
