Irving L. Peddrew III of Hampton, Virginia, died May 11 at age 88. He enrolled at Tech in 1953 and arrived only to find that he could neither live nor eat on campus. Now a dorm at Tech is named for him and for another student, a man who was the first to graduate from Tech.
