While the event was generally peaceful, several of those in attendance at the rally were heard making threats and verbally abusing members of the media who were there to cover the protest, with one individual warning a reporter to watch their back.
Attendees waved signs with slogans like “Mask on, brain off,” and “COVID plandemic is the new globalist 911.” One protester was seen waving a “Trump 2020” flag.
The event was organized by the Facebook group “Saskatchewan Freedom Revolution,” with protesters coming from as far away as Saskatoon.
