BACKGROUND
This is a local recruitment. Only Thai nationals, individuals with residence status or the appropriate employment visa for Thailand are eligible to apply. The remuneration and benefits package for this position is established with reference to the local labour market and in line with the IUCN conditions of service for Thailand.
The IUCN Thailand Country Programme (THP) is a unit under the IUCN Indo-Burma Group (IBG) based at IUCN Asia Regional Office, Bangkok. The programme was established in 2001.
IUCN THP is working on a growing portfolio focus on marine and coastal resources management, marine plastic pollution, business and biodiversity; nature-based solutions; Ecosystem-based adaptation and climate change mitigation; wildlife trafficking; species and ecosystem; conservation and community participation in the conservation and governance of protected areas and World Heritage sites.
