The Texas Department of Transportation is set to begin work on a project that will make major improvements to Upland Avenue, from 66th Street to 82nd Street.
Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced that a project to replace the Brushy Creek bridge at FM 1753 in Fannin County will get underway June 12. The contractor will demolish the bridge currently over Brushy Creek, and build at new bridge and roadway approaches, officials said. The roadway and bridge at this location will be closed while this work is underway. A signed detour will direct traffic during the closure to another route.
