Yuan Goang-Ming is an artist and a professor in the department of new media art at Taipei National University of the Arts. Yuan is known for video works shot with equipment made by the artist himself. Recently, he has been using his art to examine how war ideology infiltrates all aspects of daily life. His solo exhibition “Everyday War” will open this month at the Taiwan pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
