Cedar Hill ISD Superintendent Dr. Gerald Hudson cut the ribbon at the opening of the new Teacher Supply Warehouse on Wednesday afternoon at the CHISD Teaching and Learning Center.
“We are thankful to all of the donors, Walmart of Cedar Hill, Atmos Energy and more, who made the Teacher Supply Warehouse possible,” Hudson said. “Our priority is ensuring that teachers have what they need to educate our scholars.”

Donation From Cedar Hill Walmart Benefits Teachers & Students
(CEDAR HILL, TEXAS) Cedar Hill Independent School District educators will soon have a new resource for classroom supplies as well as personal protection equipment.
On Wednesday, January 13, the district will open its Teacher Supply Warehouse at the CHISD Teaching and Learning Center, 1533 High Pointe Lane. It will be open each Wednesday from 3-5:30 p.m.
With the opening of the Teacher Supply Warehouse, teachers will be able to pick up a wide variety of school supplies as well as face masks and backpacks. The inventory was made available thanks to a very generous donation from Walmart of Cedar Hill.

High Point Universityâs Teachers of Tomorrow partnered with an AmeriCorp VISTA and the Student Government Association to donate $8,500 to Guilford Education Allianceâs Teacher Supply Warehouse. Heather Simmons, an elementary education major, special education minor and president of Teachers of Tomorrow, partnered with Avery Moon, an HPU AmeriCorp VISTA, and members of HPUâs Student Government Association to raise the funds. HPUâs Teachers of Tomorrowâs purpose is to interact with the High Point community through education.
