the phone book. exactly. he was manafort s guy for many, many years. right. that was the association that manafort chose. that s something the prosecution will harp on, believe me. let me turn the page on someone else, michael cohen, gloria, that the wall street journal is reporting that michael cohen, trump s former attorney, could be facing new legal troubles. they re saying that cohen is under federal investigation for possible tax fraud, after underreporting, they re saying, underreporting from his taxi medallion business. i imagine that would put additional pressure on cohen to try to speaking of deals cut a deal with the special counsel. look, i think he s trying. i think he s been waiving a red flair saying i know all this. there are things i know that i can tell you that i would like to either deal with the special counsel or the southern district of new york. he made it no secret that donald trump is no longer his mentor
and good friend. and so these kinds of charges, which the wall street journal is reporting about are things that i think we would expect. it s been talked about in the taxi medallion business, for example, taxi medallions used to be worth a lot of money than uber came along and they were worth a lot less. and maybe he overstated his financial picture when he was trying to get some loans. so, it makes sense that these are things that they might be looking at. but we at this point in our reporting we do not know about any conversations that he has, that his attorney guy pa tril low has been having with the southern district of new york. so this story has to play out for a while longer. got it. gloria and richard, thank you so much on that. coming up next, it is a huge day in america here ahead of the general election voters at the polls in five states in what could be a crucial test for the future of the democratic party,

anyway. i totally understand that. but to chris s point, when you say will people care that he was dating a playboy model? he wasn t dating her, he wasn t a free man. cheating is different than dating. when you talk about suburban women, when you talk about people who you might be losing traction with, it does matter that he was cheating on his wife versus he was going on dates because you can go on dates and not be in trouble for that. it doesn t matter necessarily for the president insofar as he ends up getting michael cohen when a pardon but it does matter for michael cullen. harris: you think think youe apart into a guy who had betrayed him? jessica: if he has a lot more recordings than that. michael cullen knows where all the bodies are buried. he is being at for things like a medallion business, a taxi medallion business. and he has been in donald trump s dirt for decades
