PHOENIX Here’s a breakdown of the closures and restrictions you can expect to see around the Valley this weekend.
Northeast Valley
Loop 101 eastbound is closed between Tatum Boulevard and Pima Road/Princess Drive for a widening project from 10 p.m. Friday until Monday at 5 a.m. SR 51 northbound ramps to Loop 101 eastbound are also closed. Consider exiting Loop 101 eastbound ahead of closure and using alternate routes. Loop 101 eastbound traffic exiting at Tatum Blvd can travel south to eastbound Bell Road/Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard to access Loop 101.

PHOENIX â The future of Paradise Valley Mall could include a specialty grocery store, shops, restaurants, office space, self-storage, and housing, according to initial concept renderings submitted to the City of Phoenix.
Macerich, which owns Paradise Valley Mall and several other shopping centers around the Valley, has long labeled Paradise Valley Mall as a redevelopment property, but
when that redevelopment could take place and
what it could potentially entail were not known.

Recently, Macerich filed a request to rezone the 77-acre property near Cactus Road and Tatum Blvd. to allow for the construction of a mixed-use development.
