Muhammad Quayum's debut-directorial movie, "Kura Pokkhir Shunne Ura" (The Golden Wings of Watercocks) has been nominated at the 28th edition of the prestigious Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF). The film was nominated under the “International Competition: Innovation in Moving Images” category.

Acclaimed director Tanvir Mokammel’s “Madhumati Parer Manushti,” a documentary on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will have its world premiere at the Bangladesh Film Festival to be held in Kolkata from October 28 to November 2.
