Crews make their way to Tanque Verde Falls to rescue hikers
TUCSON (KVOA) - Several hikers are stranded at Tanque Verde Falls Thursday.
According to a tweet sent out by Pima County Sheriff s Department Search and Rescue, rescue crews are making their way towards the falls. Apparently, the hikers are stranded due to the rising water coming from the canyon.

There’s always great fresh bread if you’re hungry right away, plus delicious, reasonably priced meals like pizza if you don’t want to cook. Plus wine, candles, and coffee, which I need right away in the morning. I need coffee to go get coffee. We usually keep it pretty low-key on the first night, although, in truth, we keep it low-key every night.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Tanque Verde Falls area near Mileposts 2 and 3 for a search and rescue on Monday, Feb. 8.
Officials say they got the call at 5 p.m. and believe an adult male is involved.
No further details were immediately available.
