Reporter from the emergency room to every floor of Bayonet Point its back open. Last thursday it was a dicey situation. The hospital lost power because of a fire and all 224 patients had to be evacuated. Now in the days since we understand that fire started in a room where the auxilliary generator was being kept. That generator has been repaired. The reason it takes so long, one of the reasons its a hospital. Has to be sterilized. Cleaned very thoroughly. Hospital staff this morning working to bring patients back that were transferred to other parts of pasco county and hernando county. As for the cause, it was initially said lightning was to confirm it was actually lightning but Bayonet Point is back open and fully operational. James tully, abc action news. Thank you.
