In 2019, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, 21.9% of Nebraskans reported binge drinking within the previous 30 days, compared to 18.6% nationally. While the Cornhusker State’s numbers are down 2% from 2011, the CDC has seen a bounce from the decade low of 20.4% reported in 2015.
