Explosive materials spotted in Pathanapuram; Terror links to be probed

× പ്രദേശത്ത് പോലീസ് പരിശോധന നടത്തുന്നു | photo: mathrubhumi news/screen graB Kollam:  The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) will probe the terror links in the recovery of bombs and explosive materials used to make detonators at Pathanapuram region in Kollam district. The ATS and police will conduct independent examination of the area on Tuesday. Police spotted gelatin sticks, detonators and electric wires from the bushes on Monday and they carried out a thorough search at the location. The dog squad and bomb squad were brought for further investigation. The location and the forest areas were under examination of the ATS and Intelligence wing of the Centre for the last 7 months. The Tamil Nadu Crime Branch had informed the Kerala police about persons having links with terror activities reaching the place.
