It’s taken some time for things to be realized for this but we’re getting closer. After some character spots landed at the end of 2020, we now have a new full promo for the series that’s going to be making a July 2021 premiere later this year. The staff for this season has Tatsuya Ishihara directing based on the scripts overseen by Yuka Yamada. Miku Kadowaki is handling the character designs again and Kyoto Animation is back to production the animation for it. The first season director, Yasuhiro Takemoto, passed away in 2019 in the Kyoto Animation arson attack, and is now listed as a series director.
