Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Tuesday, constituted a nine-member committee to harmonise the views of the government and people of Ekiti State on the review of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, said that that the committee was “in furtherance to the 7th May 2021 announcement of the Deputy Senate President, Chairmen Senate and House Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution on the commencement of the exercise as part of efforts aimed at ensuring the participation of Nigerians in the proposed alteration of some of the provisions of the 1999 Constitution”.
