Health experts for eating meat in moderation

LAHORE: Senior doctors have advised people suffering from heart disease, diabetes, blood pressure and joint pain to take special precautions while eating meat on Eid days.
They have warned that carelessness and overeating may aggravate their disease. They stressed them to eat meat in moderation and avoid hospitalisation during Eid days. Prof of Medicine, Lahore General Hospital, Dr Tahir Siddique, Assistant Prof Dr Muhammad Maqsud, Dr Shahid Mayo and Dr Abdul Aziz said in the wake of Corona, dengue season, typhoid and gastro, citizens should take double precautions and avoid roasting meat in barbecue and using too much spices.
