Multiple arrests were made in relation to a range of crimes following a cross-Border joint agency task force operation focusing on rural crime that took place yesterday evening (May 12). Officers across Fermanagh worked alongside their An Garda Síochána colleagues, in this latest operation which spanned the Border Districts, with officers from Neighbourhood, Local Policing Teams and Tactical Support Groups. A PSNI spokesman said: Over the course of the operation, officers from Neighbourhood and Local Policing Teams and Tactical Support Groups across Fermanagh and Omagh carried out 109 authorised vehicle check points and conducted 78 roadside breath tests – pleased to report all were negative.
