North eastern city over sunderland. A Police Building there was attacked and the property next to it set on fire. Police have been trying to contain several hundred demonstrators in what has been a lease latest in violent protests in a number of English Towns and cities this week. It follows the fatal stabbing of three children in southport in the North West of england on monday. Dozens more protests are planned for this weekend in the wake of those stabbings.
