It was a disappointing day for markets yesterday. We are bouncing back, however, today. Lets look at the yield on the u. S. Ten year. Amazingly enough, it fell below 1. 7 briefly yesterday. Were back above that but only fractionally. For whatever you see of gains in equity markets today and in general over the last month, theres no doubt that is a relatively bearish signal, what were seeing in that yield compression.
