The top two horses in North American harness racing were in action during the rich Sun Stakes Saturday card at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania on Saturday, Aug. 19.

Many misses who will be racing on the Hambletonian Day card – in the Oaks or elsewhere – were on display Sunday night (June 18) at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania, with the top level races two $70,649 second prelim divisions of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes for this group.
Special Way was the Breeders Crown champion and voted the two-year-old trotting filly of the year in 2022, and she’s undefeated in three starts this year. And yet there is still a question if Special Way is even the best filly – in Åke Svanstedt’s barn.
Freshmen Standardbreds of each gait and sex competed in their final Grand Circuit contest of the season with the Fall Final Four composed of the Goldsmith Maid, Valley Victory, Three Diamonds and Governor's Cup on Saturday night (Nov. 26) at The Meadowlands.
