Grenke Classic: Rapport widens the gap after eventful pair of rounds

Two rounds featuring turnarounds and missed chances left Richard Rapport atop the standings of the Grenke Chess Classic with a 1-point lead over Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren and Vincent Keymer. FIDE torch relay reaches Africa

After it set off from India, the Chess Torch relay which will travel the world celebrating the first centenary of FIDE has reached the African continent. The torch arrived in Ghana’s capital, Accra. FIDE Candidates 2024: All set for the tournament of the year in Toronto

The FIDE Candidates Tournament 2024 is set to take place in Toronto, Canada, on April 3-23.
