Beaverton plans to launch hybrid learning for high schoolers in mid-April Updated Feb 22, 2021; Posted Feb 22, 2021 The Beaverton School District it plans to have middle- and high-school students begin hybrid instruction April 19.Photo by Mark Graves/Staff Facebook Share The Portland area’s second largest school district will begin in-person instruction for its middle and high schoolers in mid-April. “The details of the plan are currently being worked out, but we plan to offer” high school students two days a week of in-person instruction, Superintendent Don Grotting said in a note to families. The district is eying an April 19 start date for hybrid learning at all of its schools. Earlier this month, Beaverton officials said they merely planned on offering “limited activities” for students above fifth grade.
