The Nordic energy company Gasum has obtained a distribution license for liquefied natural gas (LNG) on the French market. This is a move to further expand the outreach of its maritime LNG offering.
Gasum is pursuing a strategy of expanding the geographic outreach and quality of its maritime liquefied natural gas (LNG) offering. The company seeks to further improve the service to its shipping customers. As part of this strategy, Gasum has now obtained a license to deliver maritime LNG in France, allowing it to add French ports and waters to its supply network.

Cheiron Petroleum Corporation (Cheiron), Egypts largest independent Exploration and Production company, is pleased to announce that it has agreed to purchase 50% of Shells upstream oil and gas interests in the Western Desert. The remaining 50% of the interests will be purchased by Cheirons strategic partner, Cairn Energy plc, a new entrant into the Egyptian upstream sector.
Cheiron will operate the production and development concessions in the asset portfolio, using the experience gained over three decades of improving safety, production, reserves and cost management performance in its Egyptian fields. Kerogen Capital announces sale of Zennor Petroleum to NEO Energy

Kerogen Capital (Kerogen) and Zennor Petroleum Limited (Zennor) are pleased to announce that Kerogen has reached an agreement with NEO Energy Upstream UK Limited (NEO) and HitecVision for the sale of Zennor for a total consideration of up to $625 million, including deferred and contingent payments. The transaction completion is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Since Kerogens initial investment in 2015, Zennor has transformed from an early-stage exploration company into a full-cycle E&P player in the UK North Sea through successful appraisal and development of the Finlaggan field, two separate producing asset acquisitions and multiple licence awards in the offshore licensing rounds. In January 2021 Zennor and Kerogen announced its Net Zero Carbon Strategy.
