Jeremy Pruitt and company have continued to work the recruiting trail despite all of the uncertainty around his job status. Yesterday, Tennessee added a quality preferred walk-on to their quarterback room in Sully McDermott.
The 6 4, 205 pounds quarterback from Marvin Ridge (N.C.) announced his commitment via social media yesterday.
He wrote: After speaking with my family, my friends and coaches, I have decided to enroll early in college and forego my senior season at Marvin Ridge H.S. I want to thank all of my Marvin Ridge coaches, the administration, my teammates, and everyone in Mavs Nation for their support over the past few years. I also want to thank QB Country, Carolina Xposure, ROEPRO, and Scott Chadwick for pushing me and helping me grow as a player and person. I am very excited to announce that as a student-athlete my next chapter will be with The University of Tennessee Volunteers!
