already big changes are being made to the bill s final form. let s get right to cnn s manu raju live on capitol hill. manu, walk us through the process. reporter: democrats are trying to get to final passage of this bill after this marathon voting session that started at 11:30 p.m. eastern time last night. it is still ongoing. there have not been any breaks. it s unclear exactly how this is going to play out because there has been some last-minute drama that s affected senate democrats ability to get to final passage, this dealing with the issue of the corporate minimum tax, a 15% tax that would be imposed on businesses with more than $1 billion in income. that is a central component in this bill that would help pay for a number of the provisions dealing with health care and climate change, energy issues and the like. but there has been some concerns from senator kyrsten sinema about the 15% corporate minimum tax and its impact on some businesses that may make less than $1

particularly on the left. the school board finally deciding to fire pete arredondo. they have been waiting for some accountability, any accountability, for now going on three months. live from london, this is cnn newsroom with max foster. it is thursday, august 25, 9:00 a.m. here in london, 4:00 a.m. in washington and florida and we could see be learning more about why the fbi wanted to search donald trump s mar-a-lago estate. the u.s. justice department is facing a noon deadline to finalize their redactions to the affidavit that led to that search. and then a judge will decide what parts of that document should be made public. evan perez explains the process. reporter: we don t know what the judge is going to do. we know he is obviously he knows what is in this affidavit. he is very familiar with it. and he said that he is very comfortable with what he approved. we ll see whether the justice department will at least perhaps unredact some of the things that have
about what happens next now that the judge has this in hand? reporter: it could be some time before we see anything here from this process, this process where the justice department is proposing redactions from this affidavit that would detail the investigation up to the point where they decided they needed to go and search and seize documents out of mar-a-lago. this filing, it did come in under seal. the judge will take a look at it. there could be days or weeks of wagt ahwaiting ahead for us. as this process goes on, the judge is sitting in for the public, the public interest, the historical interest as well. the media and others are pushing for some level of transparency here because of what we already know about this unprecedented search of mar-a-lago. at the same time the justice department we know that they are arguing for a great deal of secrecy around this investigation. it s an ongoing criminal investigation. one that they want to protect. first and foremost, they
