January is ending, and not a moment too soon. As we headed into February, new titles are headed to HBO Max, and a lot of them are definitely worth checking out. Here are the best TV shows and movies coming to HBO Max in February 2021.
Judas and the Black Messiah
A film that’s already generating plenty of awards season buzz,
Judas and the Black Messiah tells the story of how Bill O’Neal (
Lakeith Stanfield) infiltrated the Black Panthers to get close to Chairman Fred Hampton (
Daniel Kaluuya) and report his movements to the FBI. If you’ve seen the fantastic trailer for this movie you’re likely already very excited to check it out.
Judas and the Black Messiah and
Tom & Jerry, plus more. You can see the full list below which includes the above films, which will hit HBO Max on the same day they arrive in theaters and stay on the service for 31 days. Also in the list are the Director’s Cuts of the
Saw franchise, a whole bunch of
Batman films,

Meanwhile, exiting the service in February will be the just-arrived

For HBO Max subscribers, February might offer more than pricey chocolates and teddy bears. (We wouldn’t turn those down, though. It’s been a shitty year.) Next month will spark the 2021 wave of Warner Bros. film premieres, starting with
Judas And The Black Messiah. Starring LaKeith Stanfield, Daniel Kaluuya, and Jesse Plemmons, the historical drama follows Bill O’ Neal, who infiltrates the Black Panthers on behalf of the FBI. Kaluuya transforms as revolutionary Fred Hampton in a role that is generating early buzz and controversy in equal measure. As for a premiere on the entirely opposite end of the Serious Spectrum,
HBO Max has unveiled its February 2021 movie and TV highlights, including two Warner Bros. theatricals premiering in theaters and on HBO Max on the same day.
Everything New on HBO Max in February
two titles. On February 11, there’s Oscar hopeful
Judas and the Black Messiah, based on a true story from the life of Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya), the leader of the Black Panther Party in the 1960s. Then on February 26 you’ll get
Tom & Jerry, a new live-action/animation hybrid featuring the classic cartoon duo and co-starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Michael Pena. Remember also that the Warner Bros premieres on HBO Max are only there for one month, so you’ve got until mid- and late-March respectively to watch these titles before they disappear.
