electorate back in an excited frame of mind. can he do it? yeah, it s a two-part piece, i think for the president. one he s really going to have to show enthusiasm about his own record. there s a lot of people hoo here? charlotte to say i am excited to reelect this president as president of the united states. he s got to give them the talking points to remind folks he s done what no other many was able to do in passing the health care act. he has to talk about the ways he stood strong against a congress, that would have allowed student rates to double. when he s talking about a tax increase, it s a return to historic norms, that where we are right now basically allows the wealth jest americans off the hook from paying their fair share. i think the message is we have to move all together.
you didn t set that up, but we re going to talk in my first dyson-ary, the word obfuscate. do you think that plays a big role in how young people decide who is able to cast their ballot for? absolutely. i mean, if you look at a president who has grown up understanding the issue that so many people are facing today, and you look at a man who is running who really does not act like he respects young people. you know, speaking to college students in ohio, he did a big major flip-flop a couple weeks ago when the stafford student rates were looking to double. first he says young people, you can have as much school as you can pay for. when they ask how to pay for it, they say, ask your parents. then suddenly flip-flops as he always does and says, oh, no, i definitely support the rates not doubling. i mean, that is just not showing respect. it s not showing the respect that you understand the experience of young people in america today. speaking of disrespect, i want to ask mr. bramnick
that improves our economy. and higher education cannot be a luxury reserved just for a privileged few. it s an economic necessity for every family and every family should be able to afford it. so, you know, you guys, during this period, when you ve been in college, have been some of the toughest economic times since the 1930s. and there s still a lot of challenges ahead. globally. and we can t control every economic headwind that we face. but this is something we can control. this is something we can do something about. stopping student rates from doubling at the end of the month is something we can do right now to make a difference in the lives of all the american people. so there s still ten days for congress to do the right thing. i understand that members of both parties say they want to get this done and there are conversations takes place, but they haven t done it yet. and we have to keep the pressure on.
plymouth, massachusetts. i appreciate you calling in. can you just first talk me through what folks there on the ground in huntington beach, what the situation is what they need to do? i think the first thing is that you have to assess whether or not this is an animal that is in need of human intervention or not. and so, you know, from what i ve seen, there s a pod swimming somewhat freely and then this one particular animal that s a little bit away and stranded. here normally if we have a situation like that, we would try and actually move the single animal and move it out toward a deeper water area. often times you get animals, these are common dolphins. they re supposed to be in deep water. once they get into a shallow area, particularly a wetland area, it s really confusing for them. what can happen? can you hammer home how dangerous this is, how urgent this is for these folks to get this dpolphin to deeper water. as long as the animal can stay afloat, they re not i
