Share This Rachel Reyes ’21 was named this year’s student employee of the year at Quinnipiac as well as for the State of Connecticut!
Reyes, who works in the Learning Commons, is a biology major and co-president of the Asian Student Alliance. She was also selected as one of three students in the region to share the title of The Student Employee of the Year for the New England Region.
The honors were unveiled as part of a virtual celebration as part of National Student Employment Week on April 15 to show appreciation to student employees for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

to the next chapter of his life. After four years studying at Boston University and working as a member of the School of Law’s Student Affairs team, he’s beginning his quest to become a lawyer.
But not before accepting this year’s Undergraduate Outstanding Service Award.

“I only wish I could hire him on as a more permanent team member; but the world needs lawyers of his character, ethics, and sense of self,” writes Geraldine Muir, LAW associate dean for student affairs, in her letter recommending Usherenko for the Student Employee of the Year Awards.

Washington State University senior Lauren Doll has been selected to receive the institution’s annual Student Employee of the Year award, according to an announcement by the Academic Success and Career Services (ASCC) office.
“Our selection committee was impressed by the qualities Lauren brings to her job as communications assistant for College Access Programs (CAP) in the Office of Academic Engagement (OAE),” said Alena Hume, student employment coordinator in ASCC. Hume coordinates the annual search for the top student employee and leads the committee charged with the final selection.

LAWRENCE The University Career Center (UCC) is accepting nominations for the University of Kansas Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) award. Nominations are open until Feb. 5. The award recognizes student employees who embody service excellence, dedication and stellar academic achievement. Any supervisor may nominate up to three students for the award.
Students must meet the following criteria in order to be nominated for the 2020-2021 award:
Full or part-time enrollment (degree seeking) through spring 2021
Undergraduate or graduate student classified as a student hourly
Employed by the unit for a minimum of six months part-time or three months full-time between June 1, 2020, and May 31, 2021 (anticipated)
