For some students, interning in Washington, D.C. is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But Trinity Catholic High School graduate, Grace Vogel of Hutchinson will get twice as much experience this year.
Vogel, who is a rising senior at Kansas State University is interning with U.S. Rep. Tracey Mann during the first part of the summer and U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall throughout the end of the summer.
During her internship with Mann, Vogel learned about the legislative process, attended briefings on behalf of staff members and assisted constituents. Grace was a great asset to our office this summer, Mann said. She has a passion for public service, and it translated into her work. I m thankful for her dedication this summer serving the people of the Big First.

OHIO Giving Day 2021 proved once again the resiliency of the Bobcat spirit, as Ohio University alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends around the world joined together in their love and support, generously giving more than $443,320 through more than 2,100 gifts to scholarships, programs, and initiatives that are moving OHIO Forever Forward.

Building on the success of 2019’s inaugural Giving Day and 2020’s Bobcats Take Care campaign, this year’s Giving Day increased both the number of donations and the total dollars raised.
