Brad Strong, of Strong Solutions, leads a team of mules ferrying supplies to a mine tunnel opening being closed above Layton on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020. Strong Solutions was contracted by the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining to close the opening. Their use of mules to transport equipment reduces the cost of the job, as compared to using a helicopter, while impacting the environment less than using motorized equipment.
