Co-founders Kemet Coleman, Wood Bonds and Elliot Ivory didn't know when they came together to brew that they would be the first and only Black-owned brewery in Missouri.
Tickets, now on sale at iowacraftbrewfestival.com, start at $45. Each ticket includes unlimited samples, a commemorative tasting glass, and access to festival grounds with shade tents, vendors, yard games and a variety of food trucks.
State Street Brewing, which opened in March of 2019, thanked patrons and announced via social media that it was closing Feb. 1, the third downtown business to close since November.
