A 27-year-old man is accused of plying two 13-year-old girls with alcohol and methamphetamine and then sexually abusing them.
Jose Steven Padilla, no residence listed, was scheduled to appear Tuesday via video link in Clark County Superior Court on suspicion of second-degree child molestation, sexual exploitation of a minor, fourth-degree assault and supplying liquor to minors. His hearing was set over a day, however, because he was too ill to appear.
Judge Bernard Veljacic ordered a no-bail hold on Padilla.
