From Crain's Akron Business: The company announced late Thursday, Sept. 15, that president and CEO Steve Strah has resigned from the board of directors and is retiring immediately. In turn, John W. Somerhalder II, chair of the FirstEnergy board, has been named interim president and CEO, effective Friday, Sept. 16.
