1 - The earnings per share of £3.44 relates to the six month period from 1 April 2020 to 30 September 2020 whereas loss per share of (£0.60) relates to the financial year from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020. I am pleased to report another excellent set of results for the period ended 30 September 2020. As was prefaced in the Chairman s statement accompanying the Annual Report, we had seen a substantial recovery from the lows of March, I am therefore pleased to report that the Net Asset Value per share rose by 39.20%. As you will see from the Manager s report set out below, there were notable successes during the period and encouragingly only two companies required support as a consequence of the effects of the Covid-19 crisis.
