Earlier this month, MTN Uganda cut mobile money withdraw charges by 5.8% with the new rates coupled with Senkyu Points that one earns when withdrawing money. Customers can use the loyalty points to redeem data, voice call minutes, or pay for goods and services using MoMo pay.

MTN Uganda has today officially announced the reduction of its mobile money withdrawal fees. The new rates come coupled with the Senkyu Points that one earns when withdrawing money, and according to the telco, makes these the best and most affordable withdrawal rates in the country so far.
MTN Uganda General Manager of Mobile Financial Services, Mr. Stephen Mutana said the reduction in the withdrawals rates is a move aimed at bolstering the financial inclusion across the country and to further enhance the benefits customers get when they choose MTN mobile money.
