LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) Explore La Crosse has found a new location at 123 Seventh St. S. in La Crosse in a move executive director A.J. Frels says will solidify the group’s commitment to promoting the region as a tourist destination.
“Staying in a central location with room to house the team and allow for future growth were considerations in our new location,” said Frels in a statement.
The tourism organization is currently located in a building on the far north end of Riverside Park in La Crosse. The building is owned by the city of La Crosse and also previously housed the Riverside Museum; however, the city is looking into opportunities to renovate the aging building.
