that made many people highly upset. peterson was originally charged with felony child abuse but later charges were reduced to misdemeanor reckless assault and plea deal. he missed some time. but now he s being welcomed back. making millions. where many people would be fired from their jobs. never able to return. you know, we see this all the time in sports with star athletes, who made bad decisions but because they can really play they can stay. that s what many people are unhappy about. there seems to be a double standard for stars when it comes to wrongdoing and you let us know exactly how you feel about this on twitter and facebook. melanie said i am completely disgusted with how players can commit crimes and provide horrible examples to children. i no longer watch. i think he will be fine talking of peterson, people do tend to forgive it all depends on his future behavior with his family. dave said why? no one forgives my bad decisions. mother, too said we have no business judging

asking anyone with information to come forward. worcester funeral director is offering to pay for her burial. nfl player adrian peterson is back with the team and look at the reception he got from fans. cheering him on. this was yesterday at training camp. there was some question about how he d be received, though, because he missed 15 games last year after being indicted on child injury charges. after that there was a contract dispute, which was resolved just a few days ago. so last hour we asked, should fans forgive and of course forget, hard to forget, that s the hard part, star athletes when they mess up? oh, it s easy to forgive them, though, if they re playing well. yes, yes. coy, do you think? some people resonated that sentiment. we have a lot of great insight from our viewers. a lot of people don t seem comfortable with living in a world where celebrity and status seem to trump morals, ethics, and sometimes just good old commonsense. so here we had adrian peterson wh

to court and put their poor mom on the stand. really? yeah to like oh mom, is an aisle by alibi witness. stand by yourself and face the muse sflik museic. why doesn t the ncaa get involved? they have to have a morality clause. i don t know what the rule is. yeah i think football in this country, though the kind of things that are tolerated, the excuses made for star athletes is beyond the pale. i think it s beyond what we as human beings should tolerate and women, good god, what that guy did was offendsiveoffensive. why these star athletes when they become professional end up on tape doing the same type of thing. yeah kimberly talked about that in terms of repetitive behavior. there s probably maybe even something in the background. i hope there is a consequence for this because maybe he could be an example for others like don t hit women in particular.

conversation when the most public face of abuse at the hands of an nfl player, short of nicole simpson, is now janay rice. to open it up to the panel, the donald sterling situation was a moment when you actually saw the players league when you saw players threaten not to play if something wasn t done about him. let s throw all of these issues together. donald sterling violence against women, star athletes saying black lives matter. that they have in common is they have turned upside down what have been some of the most historical rules in the sports rule which are owners untouchable, violence against women is pushed under the carpet and star athletes don t speak out about politics because it will hurt their brand. all of that has been turned on their head and has been driven, i would argue, by the power of social media to drive mainstream media which scares the public relations heads inside the commissioner s office. for me that s very welcome. i think the powers that be in sports
