+ March 05, 2021 KZ TANDINGAN brings life to the first-ever Filipino Disney theme song Gabay, which is for the movie Raya and the Last Dragon. In the tradition of great anthems in the studio s catalog, Gabay will appear on the soundtrack of Raya and the Last Dragon, which is set to be released in local cinemas soon.
Bringing the theme to life is Filipino singer KZ Tandingan, who is best known as the inaugural winner of the X-Factor Philippines in 2012. Since then, she has built a name for herself as one of the country s most powerful vocalists and entertainers and even competed in the Chinese TV series Singer 2018.

On Thursday, a Reddit user re-posted another user’s post which featured a screenshot of a tweet, saying: “Why is nobody talking about the newest Disney princess Raya?”
In the screenshot, a user responded: “The movie about an SEA story isn’t even accessible to Southeast Asiana because we don’t have Disney+.” Filipino Reddit users quipped that they will have to resort to pirating the movie again.
“I will just wait for it to be posted on torrent sites in a few hours from now,” a Reddit user said.
