Kalifornischer Zoo impft seine Tiere gegen Corona

Der Zoo im kalifornischen Oakland hat damit begonnen, Tiere wie Tiger, Bären, Pumas und Frettchen gegen Covid-19 zu impfen.
Nach Mitteilung des Zoos am Freitag soll der experimentelle Impfstoff des US-Herstellers Zoetis als nächstes Affen, Fruchtfledermäusen und Schweinen verabreicht werden. Bis jetzt hätten sie auf Schutzmaßnahmen wie Abstand, Barrieren und Schutzkleidung der Mitarbeiter gesetzt. Sie seien erleichtert , ihre Tiere nun mit einem Impfstoff besser schützen zu können, sagte die Veterinärin Alex Herman.
