Bangladesh Air Force chief departs for USA

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat along with his spouse and two entourages left Dhaka for United States of America (USA) on Friday on a six-day official visit.
During his visit to USA, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will participate in bilateral meeting with high officials of UN Headquarters, New York on the issues related to UN peacekeeping missions of Bangladesh Air Force.
He will also call on Chief of US Air Force General Charles Q. Brown, Jr. and Director of Defence Security Co-operation Agency (DSCA) Ms. Heidi Grant and exchange views on different issues of mutual interests.
BAF aircraft leaves for China to collect COVID vaccines

DHAKA, May 11, 2021 (BSS) – An aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) today left here for China to collect five lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
A total of 13 BAF Aircrews left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka for China to bring 5 lakh doses of the vaccines.
Wing Commander Md Habibur Rahman, GD (P) of BAF is leading the team, said an ISPR press release.
Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat has provided necessary guidance to carry out the goodwill mission.
The Armed Forces is conducting various activities under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to prevent coronavirus.

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat on Wednesday flew to Sri Lanka on a six-day official visit.
Masihuzzaman was accompanied by his wife and two entourages.
They left the country by a C-130J aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force accepting the invitation of Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal SK Pathirana on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force. During his visit, the air chief will participate in various events marking the 70th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force. He will take part in a Colour Award Ceremony at the Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake.
The visit comes ahead of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi s planned visit to Bangladesh on March 26 and 27 to join Bangladesh s 50th year of independence celebrations and 50 years of diplomatic relations between India and Bangladesh.
