A female 14kg royal turtle, one of a critical endangered species which was released into the wild last year, was caught by fisherman last week. Luckily, she was rescued thanks to the Wildlife Alliance’s local network, according to Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Cambodia.
The agriculture ministry and an institution under the commerce ministry based in Xiamen city, Fujian province, China have entered into a partnership to pave the way for the export of Cambodian edible bird’s nest products to China and establishment of a domestic processing plant for the commodity in the near future.

In the first six months of 2022, there were nearly 30 explosive ordnance accidents causing 10 deaths and 30 injuries, an increase of over 20 per cent compared to the same period in 2021, which had 22 such accidents.
