A little bit chilly again this morning. We have some high clouds. Take a look at satellite. Youll see some breaks in the clouds and there will be some sun today but a lot more cloud cover around than there was yesterday and those showers down to our south so far you can see how theyre just falling apart as they try to head up into washington. I think we stay dry today and then tomorrow we get some of those irma related showers popping through at times. 61 degrees currently in philadelphia. 53 in allentown and reading. Thats cool but not as bad as yesterday when you were down in the mid 40s so improvement this morning. 62 degrees in cape may. 58 in wilmington, 55 in trenton and not much wind either which is nice when its cool. 59 degrees by 7 oclock. But after that, we warm up. 76 degrees for your lunch hour. And 81 when the kids are coming home from school at 3 oclock. That will be your high this afternoon. 79 by 5 oclock and by 7 oclock, 74. Some showers from irma possible tomorrow. I
Could get into the 30s maybe even the low 40s at times but the Tropical Storm watch down the shore has been canceled because this storm just doesnt look like its going to be close enough to give us Tropical Storm conditions. Mariners take note though. The conditions just off the coast are going to start to get rather dangerous. On the coast, coastal Flood Warning today. Breakers on the beach eight to 10 feet. Thats going to give you beach erosion and strong chance of rip currents. High tide, the morning high tide not too bad minor flooding there but for that evening high tide moderate flooding down along the water and up in the bay. 71 in cape may, 70 in trenton and wilmington. 69 in allentown. Fairly comfortable as you step out just a little bit humid. Lots of clouds, some sunny breaks cant be ruled out. 74 by noon and a high of 77 at 3 oclock today. Breezy and at times a little damp. Some of those spotty showers down the shore could push inland briefly at times this afternoon. When i

We are tracking when falllike temperatures are going to start to show up. David is off. Matt pelman is here along with meteorologist karen rogers. Good morning. Although as crazy as the weather has been around here. Yes. We might have a heat wave in late october. Yeah, we probably will but were looking at an extended period of cooler weather coming your way. First lets look at satellite and radar. One of the things you notice is the spinning off the coast there. Thats Tropical Storm maria that is moving very slowly, about 5 miles an hour, still very near the coastline, not really impacting us but were seeing a few clouds spilling in. Kind of those high thin clouds we saw yesterday. So youll still see some sunshine filtering through it but the big story today is just how warm it is once again. 66 in reading, its 65 this morning in allentown. Its al
