Police involved shooting in northeast philadelphia that Authorities Say started with a family argument. The scene is the 2700 block of thompson street and Police Investigators report that a verbal altercation escalated to a physical struggle that is when the gun was fired. The altercation the off Duty Police Officer is armed with an off duty weapon during this altercation his weapon was discharged at least twice striking one of the individuals inside of the home in the torso area of the body. The person shot was a 19yearold man now at area hospital in critical but stable conditions, authorities are not releasing his name, the 15th district officers name or their exact relationship.
